Lakeway Christian Schools announced the creation of a system-wide role and the promotion of Alani Staples to the position of Director of Student Services.
The Director of Student Services will oversee the admission process to graduation and beyond.
Staples has worked in youth services for 17 years.
During this time, she held several positions including outreach program director, clinical supervisor and school board director.
Staples received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and his Masters in Educational Guidance from Liberty University.
Her professional experience has allowed her to celebrate the joy of seeing young people discover their full potential, particularly in terms of academic success, overcoming challenges, developing healthy interpersonal skills and achieving their post-secondary goals.
As Director of Student Services, Staples will oversee the areas of admissions, social and emotional support, academic support, and academic and career planning.
She will work with a team of coordinators and principals as she emphasizes the entire student’s interaction with the school, from interest in attending school to achieving a successful student until graduation with a plan for their future.
Staples will work with the leadership teams of the three schools in the system: Cornerstone Christian Academy, Lakeway Christian Academy, and Tri-Cities Christian Academy.
