Middlesex Vice-Chancellor to chair Student Assessment Committee

Nic Beech will be joined by Clare Peddie on the UK Standing Committee for Quality Assessment

A UK-wide committee overseeing student assessment has appointed Middlesex University Vice-Chancellor Nic Beech as its new chair.

Beech will join the UK Standing Committee for Quality Assessment, which brings together the four UK funding bodies and other industry bodies to consider issues such as grade inflation, in June. He succeeds outgoing President and Vice-Chancellor of Northumbria University, Andrew Wathey.
