The June 30, 2009 webinar on "Developing Individual Budgets and Reimbursement Levels Using the Supports Intensity Scale" by John Agosta and Jon Fortune of the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) are now available online for all to access. This hour-long conference moderated by Bruce Appelgren, Director of Publications at AAIDD, featured discussions on a recent report submitted by HSRI to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on why the Support Intensity Scale is the key starting point to help states design more rational  reimbursement levels for people with developmental disabilities and individual budgets for recipients of the HCBS Comprehensive or Support Waiver services. John Agosta, Ph.D., is Vice President of HSRI and Jon Fortune, Ed. D., is a Senior Policy Specialist at HSRI.
