SIS Electronic Scoring Program Now Available!
November 15, 2005
Professionals can now complete the Supports Intensity Scale electronically on the convenience of a desktop or laptop, and get instant access to a 4-page report with an individualized Supports Needs Index, confidence interval, graph, and a complete report for each person. The new Supports Intensity Scale electronic scoring program (ESP) on CD-ROM is a stand-alone application that automates the scoring and reporting of the 85 items ranked by SIS, and can be completed by anyone with knowledge of a standard word processing program.
“The SIS ESP provides the end user an opportunity to store assessment data electronically and draw from it as required, in an instant” says Bruce Appelgren at AAMR. “While it does not eliminate the need for printed forms or a face-to-face interview with the consumer, it is very convenient due to its portability and gives professionals yet another way to complete SIS.”
The SIS ESP is based on an easy, point and click technology and drop down menus guide users through scoring process. Assessment data can be exported in a comma delimited file or a custom research format and the system automatically produces a report in PDF or text formats with a unique ID number. The ESP is user-friendly and can be completed on any computer running on a Windows operating system.
