SIS at the AAIDD Annual Meeting in DC
On May 25, 2008, at the AAIDD Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, there will be a special theme session moderated by SIS author, Robert Schalock, on "SIS to Support Individualized Planning and Community Inclusion" from 3:30 pm-5 pm. Speakers include Stephen Greenspan, from the University of Colorado on "Real Life Issues in Determining ID Eligibility"; Charles Moseley, of NASDDDS on "Policy and Individualized Funding"; and SIS authors James Thompson from Illinois State University and Marc Tassé from the University of South Florida on "The Importance of Training in the Assessment of an Individual's Support Needs."
